Myself and a couple of others are tinkering with the notion of creating an RPG specifically to fit our world and magic system. Naturally this may never go beyond the status of personal project, but there are two real technical questions I can foresee. After seeing the RMC ruleset in action I know the combat question is doable, I just don't know how to fully automate it (yet). The other issue I really don't have a clue about.

What I would need to be able to do for a clear conversion from the Paper version is to create what could be best described as flow charts, or perhaps visualizing a family tree might be the best conceptualization. This could either be achieved with lines (arrows) or with a system of colored backgrounds.

Is this possible in FG2?

At its heart, Fantasy Grounds is designed to be a virtual tabletop with a database and visual objects that can be defined by the game definition files.

Given that you can design any window layout you want with the code, you should be able to build flowchart type objects, though there are no specific design objects that support the flowchart concept. You would be building a flowchart window from scratch using text and graphics objects. The arrows and colored backgrounds would simply be graphic files that you would provide as part of the definition.

Ahhh, I hadn't thought of it from that approach. I would have to to really beef up my skills, heh heh. Good thing I'm not in a hurry!
