Is there a Basic D&D ruleset(Buebook days) available?

Labyrinth Lord is a retro clone of Basic/Expert/Companion/Master (BECM) rules, which came in the red/blue/turquiose/black books. My earliest D&D had a purplish box with an Errol Otus picture on the front, which preceded the BECM version and had the same rules but laid out differently.

I'm not sure which version you mean, but I guess it is one of those, in which case LL should do the trick. It is available for free download from the FG Wiki (https://oberoten.dyndns.org/fgwiki/index.php/Labyrinth_Lord). The Beckham extension (https://oberoten.dyndns.org/fgwiki/index.php/Beckham_Extension) makes the ruleset an even closer copy.
