Does FG have a matching service? Where players can find a drop in game?

The reason I'm asking is that I used to use a program called webrpg and the matching service is what keep that thing alive until they started charging for it.

It was great for players who wanted to find mini games or for DM who wanted to find new players for their main campaign.

thanks

well this is good, but it isn't as great as what I was looking for. I was thinking of something with a chat lobby, game rooms, a list of games (with details), and the ability to host and join games from within the application.

That isn't how FGII has been designed it is meant to replace the need for a group of players to sit around the same table and play.

Maybe other people are different but for me RPGs are not played like computer games, we have a group of regular players (from multiple countries in my sessions), and we all play togther week-in week-out at the same pre-arranged time.

We all have each others email addresses and thus use email to talk with each other.

What you described is what I use when I want a quick one-off game of Left 4 Dead 2!

Now if you are not already part of a gaming group then things are a little different, and that is where the community and game calendar come in.

I do not how things worked on WebRP)G as FG and FGII have been all I've used since 2005.

This community is helpful and friendly and feel free to ask as many questions as you need to.

Oh and posting up you location and/or Timezone helps, e.g. if I knew you were near GMT then I'd run a session for you, if you are USA based I knows that would most likely do the same!
