all of a sudden my start button will not work.

in fg not windows.

Make sure you are not trying to name the campaign the same name as an existing one.

i have tried it more than once. i have reinstalled FG four times. and updated and i does not matter. start button does not work for any option. i can start an existing campaign but can not create a new one. if i double click on an existing campaign it starts. but once again the start button does not work.

Help Doug.

windows Vista x64 i7 with 12 gig ram i have never had this problem before

I thought it was just me... but ya, I've noticed the same behavior on my Windows XP SP3 laptop.

Like they said, make sure to name it and not name it something already existing. I had this problem as well and that fixed it.

If you have a recent (re)install, I think you also need to make sure your GM username is filled in under "Campaign Details".

Wow i feel like a dumb a**. i know i tried that. but now it worked.

Uh... same here. Didn't realize that was a requirement... but now I know. ;)
