How do you guys work crits?

I am trying to find a way to quickly deal crit damage in the 4e ruleset. Maybe I am missing something obvious, but I don't see an option for dealing the max damage of a power. Any help would be great, thanks.

When rolling damage rolls, hold down shift.

This will max out the weapon damage and if the weapon contains a Critical property, apply the critical property as well.
