Ships

Hi folks,

to get ready for our Sundered Skies game via FG2 I want to create some ship tokens. Do you have any idea from where I could get nice and useable images of ships? From classical sailing ships to Orkish war ship and Dwarfen ironclads... I would prefer images that show the vessel from above. I have already seen the ship tokens posted here in the forum made from ships from Civilizations 4. I liked them pretty much but they feature mostly the classical sailing ships.

What I also need are deck layouts from various vessels (like this one I found by accident, https://www.naturaltwenty.com/downloads/big_fg.jpg). Any ideas where I can get such deck plans?

There's a few that can be found here (https://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/dungeon_tiles/files/Ship%20Tiles/) but you will first have to join the Yahoo Group before you can download them.

You may also find some over at the Cartographers Guild (https://forum.cartographersguild.com/index.php)

Actually that ship is from WotC's "map a week" (I'm a member of that Yahoo group). There are a few ships in that collection. That is the Pinnacle from the Keelboat, Pinnacle, Cog map the Aug. 8, 2005 map. That and several other ship maps can be down loaded here: https://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mw/20050809a

WotC's Map a Week Archive is an incredible resource for FG. There are a few other ships maps around but most of the others are for sale. I.E. Skeleton Key has a nice map tile one if you want to do some face to face games (and you could stitch it together for online). I took a look around from my Pirates game.
