Greetings, FGII!
Tuesday night, we held our very first session using Fantasy Grounds II. We're currently playing 4e D&D. The party is about to enter the dreaded Well of Demons in the Thunderspire Labyrinth.
I just wanted to let you know how well everything went! I GM for 6 players, and given the fact that everyone is still getting used to the interface, I am psyched about FGII's performance.
Things I'd love to see in the future:
- A partnership with Wizards to allow purchase of a 4th edition ruleset. I'm sure this is on many little GM's Christmas lists.
- Different color choices for areas of effect on maps (besides blue).
- A specifically Smiteworks map creator utility that you could import into FGII.
Anyway, thanks again for a great time! We've been playing online for about a year and a half, using Gametable and Dungeon Helper. Many times, I would be dreading our next D&D session, faulty programs, horrible graphics, bad connections. Needless to say, FGII parted those clouds and I can't wait for next week!
