I thought about placing this in another forum, but thought I'd throw it out here first.

I have a friend that is getting on in age. He has issues with manipulating some of the controls in regular video games (ie, DDO), but I think he would do well with FG.

I have a keypad (https://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=164714) that I used for DDO as well as a keyboard (https://reviews.cnet.com/keyboards/razer-lycosa/4505-3134_7-32640959.html). Both allow for the creation of Macros to do tasks in a game. Messing with the Nostromo keypad, I'm able to throw out keystroke commands for commonly used features.

Has anyone attempted to expand on this? I think that /slash commands could possibly be created to do some common things. For example, a command for "/attack (Red Shirt 1)" would target and attack a specific creature on the map. Or a "/move X,Y" would move the character so many squares in the direction chosen.

Just throwing this out there.
