Hi Carlos - I'm not sure I completely understand your posting but I wanted to see if I could help you out. Are you under the impression that there are SW Saga Edition modules available for download and play within FGII? Or are you looking for the SW Saga Edition ruleset? If it is the first question, I believe the answer is that there are none for the reason that Saga Edition modules are not officially produced outside of the Dawn of Defiance campaign. For this very reason, I've recently founded the SW Adventure Writers Guild (https://community.wizards.com/swawguild) on the Wizards of the Coast Community website and hope to have some community (Fan-Made) modules available soon. I've even given thought to converting them to FGII.

If you were asking the second question, I believe there is a SW Saga ruleset that is available through the GamingArmy (https://www.gamingarmy.com) website.

Hope that helps!

The Star Wars Saga Edition FGII ruleset seems to have vanished from existance back in Sept or so.

The Star Wars Saga Edition FGII ruleset seems to have vanished from existance back in Sept or so.As I mentioned in my post, you can still get it from www.GamingArmy.com - I did just the other day and it is pretty good from what I've seen. I've coupled it with a nice extension to change the look to more Sci-Fi and I think it'll work rather well. I'd like to run a game using it sometime soon. I've noticed quite a few people are interested and just waiting for a game to be hosted.

Just be aware that there might be some copyright concerns regarding the distribution of module type information owing to the fact that there is not a official relationship with WoTC and SmiteWorks yet. This is the reason there are no modules except the official and D20 ones being distributed.

Something to keep in mind.

The Star Wars Saga Edition FGII ruleset seems to have vanished from existance back in Sept or so.

I developed a large portion of that ruleset a while before acquiring SmiteWorks. It was based heavily off the 4E ruleset and had custom graphics and components specific to SWSE. I also released some tools to allow others to build their own library modules of NPCs with a web-based user entry form. The ruleset was never finished 100% and some of the graphics used by the other contributor were possibly a copyright violation.

A Star Wars ruleset would need to comply both with WoTC licensing and Lucas, which makes it especially difficult to successfully navigate without accidentally violating anyone's rights. I never asked anyone to take it down, but when it went down I did not take any steps to re-post it anywhere. At this stage I would very much like to pursue this again but only if we are able to do so in an official capacity.

I have not had a chance to look at it, but unerwünscht has developed a rules compatible ruleset with custom graphics that he hosts on his website, www.gamingarmy.com (https://www.gamingarmy.com/).

Oh... No.... I tried to be very clear on that from the beginning. I did not develop the ruleset, we just took the old ruleset (I am guessing the one you worked on) and cleaned up the code and changed the graphics to avoid any form of Intellectual Property Violations.

We sent a msg to the person who posted the original telling him exactly what was changed, and explaining that we had no interest in actually taking over the project, and that any time he wanted to step in and take over again we would remove ours, and redirect everyone to him.

I'm guessing you have a new account, and I sent all that info to the wrong account. But the project is yours any time you want it.

I've downloaded the SWSE ruleset from the Gaming Army forums, but was wondering if anyone knew how I go about creating a new module (for example, a bestiary module) for this ruleset.

I know there's a tutorial on creating a module in the forums (yes I did use the search function :D ) but it seems like this tutorial assumes you have a module from which you can already copy/past and then eddit from. I think with this ruleset, there are no modules to copy/paste from.

Is there a way to link my 3.5 modules to this ruleset?

Thanks in advance.

You need to create a new campaign for all your data entry. You basically create personalities with your bestiary, etc, and then export it as a module. Then you open it with your campaign you are using.

How you search that site? I can't get to a forum. Do I need to register?

I think you do. But I also seem to remember that they've dropped their support of FG-related downloads, so it may no longer be available there.

However, you can get it from the FGWiki here (https://oberoten.dyndns.org/fgwiki/index.php/Star_Wars_saga_edition).

Have fun!
