Horizontal tabs?

Trying to create a set of horizontal tabs within a generic-control to switch between information within that control

Also trying to create a second set of vertical tabs on the left of a spell sheet you access tabs on the right (for different spell levels)

Any ideas how to do this? I keep getting nil errors :P
