single PC install and multiple user profiles

Is it possible to install FG2 on WinXP, and then have multiple user profiles on that PC use it. This question also applies to the purchased rulesets; Or do I need to purchase and install separate for each user profile on the machine?

I am not familiar enough with the licence, but I think you need to buy a copy of FG for each machine, for each user.

Certainly when it installs, FG only works for the user profile from which you install it.

Yes, you can run it from every profile on the machine, as long as you install it from an account with admin privileges (chances are if you don't know how to set it up then you have them). You can even launch it in host mode with one user, then switch users to another user and login as a player through localhost. If you were thinking about running a game in 'hot seat' mode, tho I have no idea why anyone would actually do this.
