Character question

I am going to be sharing a group with another DM in the near future. Is there a way to share the saved characters from his version and get it to mine without having to have the players reenter it all into my computer???

If I remember correctly your playing 4E with the 4E_JPG ruleset so you could use this tool: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10734&highlight=Campaign+tools.

Or you could open the Campaign db.xml file you are using and copy the <id-#####> entries under /root/charsheet to the destination campaign db.xml file's /root/charsheet tree manually. If you do this manually you should ensure each <id-#####> in the destination campaign db.xml file is unique by renumbering the new entries accordingly.

The tool linked above does this for you automatically.

Not sure which ruleset you are using but that may help.

If not you can just copy the characters from his db.xml to yours (they are in the charsheet section i think)
