Hi everyone... Im looking for some help with creating my monsters. I have a manuel but the monster is not in it, I have manually entered this into the personality trait section and added to my quest.

My question is is there a way to save that information without having to enter it for all of my campaigns???? The monster in question in a skeleton and zombies, just dont want to have to keep entering them over and over or is this how its done since they are missing from my MM manuel in game???

Thanks in advance

The answer to you question is yes, create a module of your NPC's/Personalities/Monsters which can then be loaded into your campaigns.

Information on modules can be found here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/userguide/modules.xcp
To create a module you have a couple of options:

1) Manually enter your data in FGII (as you have already been doing) and then use the /export command (see here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/userguide/modules.xcp - includes basic instructions as well as a tutorial) to create your module.

2) If your playing 4E D&D and are using the 4E_JPG ruleset and you want to parse your entire Monster Manual, then you can also use Tenian's 4EParser tool to produce a module of the entire MM. The Parser is great if you have a lot of information to input and is quicker in comparison to manually entering all the data directly via FGII. You can find more information on the latest version of the 4EParser at the FourUglyMonsters (FUM) site - https://www.fouruglymonsters.com/community/community/groups/viewdiscussion/782-Parser+407?groupid=49 the link to the download is in the body of the post.

For a single monster already input into FG it is also easy to add to your MM. Monster fromat is the same between library monster manuals and campaign modules. Thus you can just open the campaigns db.xml file find the monster and then open up the monster manual's dm.xml file and paste the monster in. You would want to change the campaign modules id-xxxx to a similar format name in the monster manual and hook up any links.

For 3.5 this is easy. For 4E it may be easier mark up the new monster and reparse the monster manual if you used Tenian's parser.
