Hi,

Anyone interested in playing a game on Saturday or Sunday afternoons
say from about 2pm-6pm GMT?

I'd like to run the D&D module The Sunless Citadel and if that works
out other modules in the Ashardalon Series (the modules are fairly
small).

I'd prefer to use the Savage Worlds rules (The Explorer edition along
with the Fantasy Companion), since they are fast, fun n' all. Though
if more people are interested in playing using some version of D&D we
can do that.

Howdy! I'm not too familiar with the Savage Worlds rules, but may be interested in in learning them along the way in your campaign if you'll have me. Is it core 3.5 based or would I need to DL some more books and rulesets?

Savage Worlds isn't D&D based at all, though the Test Drive Document (https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.peginc.com%2FDownloads%2FSWEX %2FTD06.pdf&ei=3HSySovDHOGf4AbGyryyDg&usg=AFQjCNFNUvTJGR2ZFrKY16zdUzgRPncPdQ&sig2=YiOMvUVMiz5LHzI-OmlJiw) should be enough to get you going as a player. It's fairly easy to pick up.

For FGII, players don't need to install rulesets as the files are downloaded as an encrypted campaign file when to connect to the GM. Only the GM needs to have the ruleset installed.

I myself am also new to the Savage Worlds ruleset, but would be very interested in playing it. :D I am familiar with the d20 rules and DnD 3.5

Cool seems to be some interest out there :-)

I've set up a google group so we can get organised.

Please join the group if you want to play.

Ok,

We now have 4 players for this game who created characters on Sunday, plus 5th player on the way...

So that's a pretty full team. If anyone else would like to play we could maybe squeeze in 1 more, or if you would just like to follow our brave adventures through the weekly chat logs just join the group ;-)
