When Neverwinter Nights became popular, a group within the community would organize and run regular tutorials for newbs in the community that wanted to learn about module creation.

Does such a thing exist here? I am starting out a new campaign soon with my friends across a couple states and there are some things that I am just not getting. Jason/Xorn's tutorials are fantastic, but there are still a few basic things I am missing and suspect others are too. In the end, everyone is stumbling through and reinventing the wheel.

If such a thing does not exist here, would some more experienced folks be willing to host a few? I would even be willing to pay a little bit for your time. If a group of people would chip in even $5-$10/hr. it seems like it might be worth it for the teacher.

My interest is primarily in the 3.5 or d20 ruleset, whichever would most enable me to run a non-4th-ed. D&D game with the most available downloads, purchaseables, etc.

I could host such a meeting over Live Meeting at least once.
