I am running a small online convention for D&D 4rth Ed, running modules for Living Forgotten Realms (https://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/news/lfrwelcome). Games usually run about 6 hours. For those who don't know what living games are, in summary. You create a character using their guidelines, and you play whenever, or wherever you can, taking the character(s) from game to game. It is a good way for players who have erratic schedules to get a game in once in a while.

You will have to be a Wizards Play Network member to play, it is free, and we can get you what you need to play.

Signup for games at warhorn at https://warhorn.net/FantasyGroundsRPGA/schedule/month.php

Some DM's may also require Hamachi (https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/vpn.asp) for connection. And ventrilo (https://www.ventrilo.com/download.php) for voice. No mic is required, you just need to hear the DM.

For further questions, please signup on the yahoo group RPGA_Group (https://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/RPGA_Group/?yguid=136537465). Even if you cannot make the con, but are interested in LFR on FGII, signup to the group. We average 3 games a week.

Thanks,
Dave Williamson

I have but one question. I've always been interested in LFR but I live in Finland where there are no RPGA LFR games (live). So, how often are LFR games run through FG? I'd really like to start playing but if majority of games are run live I have no way to participate.

We run about 2-3 games a week. Most of the games though are run in the evening, Eastern time (GMT -5). We do have one player in England, but he is a night owl. There are a few games running during the con that will be time friendly for you.

Either way, it does not hurt to join the yahoo group, and get a game in when you can. Personally, I only get one or two face to face game a year in, the majority of my games are online.

I'm currently unemployed so my time table is very flexible. I can play during nights no prob. So could you or somebody go through these registrations and such with me? I posted on the yahoo group already.
