New 3.5 Campaign, need players!

I would be very interested in joining, but would like a little more information first if possible. Like for starters will this be an ongoing game, or a one shot adventure? Will you be using voice chat? Will it be a dungeon crawl, or more in depth plot driven story?

I'm actually in GM mode right now if anyone wants to jump in and chat.

The first game will probably be a little hit n miss, considering my inexperience as a FG user. I'm confident that it will go fairly well though if we have at least 1 FG regular to whisper me tips.

Game type is going to be a mixed bag, a little of everything. Since I don't know my player base I don't know what everyone will want.

No voice chat, as we have others in my house that don't like D&D much.

What version of Fantasy Grounds are you running? I try to connect with 2.4.5 and it tells me "Host is running an incompatible program version. Update and try again."

Says 2.2, but I think it lies. I probably have 2.0 I haven't been able to update for a while. No idea why. The FAQ about it says I have an invalid serial code... (My normal DM owns the license, I'm just running the game.)

Well, from the version numbers mentioned, and the "borrowed" serial code, my guess would be you have been manipulated in one way or another into running a pirated copy of Fantasy Grounds.

Where as I can not honestly say I agree with the way Smite Works has chosen to license Fantasy Grounds, I also can not condone piracy as an alternative. Thus I will have to opt out of this game. If you chose to purchase a valid copy of Fantasy Grounds (and upgrade to the newest version, with the new features) I will be willing to consider joining again.
