Hello All,

My son (using the same router as I, the GM) is having a problem logging on to a specific CoC campaign that I'm hosting. Two other players joining using from out of state can do so with no problem.

At the very end of his connection process (it shows him connected on my end), he gets the following error message:

Error loading data: Could not load ruleset file base.xml

We have experimented and found that this problem is specific to this single campaign. He has no problems joining other campaigns that I host. We reloaded both his full FGII license and the CoC ruleset to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance,

Doug

I think I remember reading it elsewhere on the board, but you could try going to the cache folder and the delete the folder of the campaign that is causing the error.

It can be accessed through the FG application data folder link in the start menu, or by going to
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Fantasy Grounds II\cache (vista/win7)
