Anyone up for some playtest sessions of Interface Zero, a cyberpunk setting being converted to Savage Worlds?

I can play Euro evenings, so afternoons in the US.

So is a Saturday / Sunday at 1900 GMT good for you both?

I have the pdf now so will forward that and the NDA to you. Please pm me your email address (if not in your sig).

As there's only 2 at the moment, howabout you roll up 2 characters each and you can use the best suited for each session? As each PC has "meat" and "avatar" stats its probable best to have 2 "PCs" in the SW ruleset for each character.

Let me know when you want to generate PCs.

Hi I'm new round these parts but I was looking for some sort of game that I might be interested in playing to help me learn more about FG2 and having just purchased the Savage Worlds Fg2 version and being very intrigued by it and a big fan of cyberpunk in general, well this sounds perfect!

If you have room for a another player I'd love to give it a go.

Sorry for the late reply - I can only do Sunday I'm afraid, but I can do some PC gen offline so I'm up to speed, if that's ok.

I'm thinking Saturday 22 for first session, PCs to be done before this. I can leave the server up overnight (BST) so those in the US can gen PCs.

VenomousFiligree
August 29th, 2009, 07:35
So, any of you guys still interested in this?

VenomousFiligree
September 4th, 2009, 20:47
So I've had 4 people respond, 3 on the thread, 1 by PM. They've all been emailed the playtest rules and only 1 person has continued to show an interest. Makes you wonder if people are just after free rules....

sorry, im not interseted in this. I looked over the rules and I dont have a copy of savage worlds and I dont want to learn the system. And as such I dont play savage worlds I wont need the rules you sent me so it is not about that.

Murgh,

I couldn't do it if you were going to start this weekend, but if this is still going and you are looking at a session September 10-12th at 1900 GMT, I can swing it and would love to.

A big SW fan and interested in a Shadowrun-esque world so I think a game like this would be excellent. Let me know if you are still game and if so, I'll be there.

VenomousFiligree

I'm still keen to run this and will run with just two.

I'm away shortly for just under 2 weeks, so we'll arrange something on my return! :)

PDF in hand and I'm impressed. Have some character ideas floating around, but there are so many ways to go in the setting definitely want to see what we are doing before I develop too much.

Can't do 1900 this coming Saturday, but could meet up for couple hour chargen around 1300GMT or 2030GMT. Looking forward to it.

I can start as early that day as you'd like, but will have to roll out by 2200 your time. So, enough time perhaps to get some characters set up, but I don't know if I could pull a full session starting that time. Loving the source material and really can't wait to play it.

Do either of you want to use Skype, or just keep to text?

VenomousFiligree

Pre Gen is pre generated character, a PC (player character) that has been made for you. They are often used in shorter adventures.

The session will be starting 2000 GMT+1 (BST), I'll post connection details tomorrow afternoon (BST)

Hello, stumbled on the site, when I saw 'Cyberpunk' I was instantly interested. Played a lot of CP 2020, never heard of Interface Zero (D20 Cyberpunk, I presume?) don't know much about Savage Worlds though it appears pretty intuitive. Pinnacle? Wow, ever play Deadlands? One of the coolest games ever designed, system wise and also the physical book.

So anyway, got another pre-gen handy for this game? :)

That was a really good session! Biggest problem for me is still finger trouble in selecting OOC or Emotes. At least I only have 1 character - pity the poor GM! Excellent job there Phil, I'm looking forward to the next one.

I could make this Friday, same time (trouble-free commute permitting).

Well, might have to be in a couple weeks then, if you happen to be back on the weekend - that time for Friday isn't likely for me.

But also, where is it played at? Not at all familiar with stuff here.

October 6th, 2009, 13:33

Session on for tomorrow at 1900 GMT+1. Roll call of those attending please.

Of those who wants to play, who hasn't got the playtest docs?

I've just been given some new rules, which includes Street Cred and Rep, could have done with those last session! :)

Please pm email addresses again and I will forward them on.

Anyway, won't be there tomorrow, no.

Was just wondering if there's still a spot open for this campaign. I have never played a cyberpunk setting but am familiar with all of the savage worlds rules so I should be able to fit right in. :)

VenomousFiligree
October 9th, 2009, 23:27
First of its not a campaign, just a play test of the rules! :) I can't commit to regular sessions, so we agree on dates beforehand for the next session.

The current "adventure" will probably finish next session, however I'm more than happy to run another.

I try and make it so that at the end / start of each session if players come and go, it's not an issue.

So, can you play? Yes indeed! :)

As long as the session fits in with GMT evenings I'm good to go. Unfortunately over the next couple of weeks my schedule is tied up with work (think Homer Simpson short staffed at work!). So it'll need some careful de-conflicting.
