Hey Everyone!

tl;dr version: This is a narrative and RP heavy game, with a healthy spattering of combat thrown in for good measure. We have 4 people, looking for a 5th, who doesn't mind dipping into RP for sessions at a time. We are playing 4th Edition D&D Friday nights at 7pm EST technical difficulties aside.

You might have seen my posts around before, looking for people, well, good news; my game is open for recruitment once more. We are a 4th Edition D&D group that plays Friday nights at 7pm EST. (Thats -5 GMT.)

I will warn you. We started with 6 people. We lost one person, got another, lost 2 more. This game is RP HEAVY and Narrative driven! We are a group that loves emotes, convorsations with NPCs, and all around background building for PCs and NPCs alike. We do do a fair bit of combat, and currently are in a dungeon crawl in which inserting you into the story would not be an issue.

We currently have 4 steady players guarenteed not to leave: A Dragonborn Paladin, a Genasi Rogue, a Dwarf Cleric and a Half-Elf Warlord. We welcome any class to our party, and hope that you will stick with us.

I only ask that you please, please consider what I said earlier about a narrative run game with heavy RP. I don't wish to scare you off, but our group is serious about our RP.

Here is a little background on the story thus far;

The game takes place in the homebrew continent of Geonidia. on this continent is the country of Vis Luth. It is here that the country is at war with it's neighbor, and one time peace keeping ally Vis Tar. The High King Itae II has summoned the heroes from the capitol of Luth Aijul to him to probe the strange happenings throughout the countryside, and investigate a strange plague that has been wrought throughout the land south of the main city. Before that, trust must be gained.
The High King asked the party in our first few sessions to meet with an ambassador from Turta, one of the great barbaric nations, to ally with them against Vis Tar. It is with the parties actions that the Turtans agreed on a diplomatic conclusion. After the good news was brought to the High King, he agreed to let them in on a deep secret of where the stone from the castle, pure mithril, was mined from. After the castle in Luth Aijul was built, the mine was collapsed, and it seems that there is some new activity within named place. He asks the party to head to the Mithril Mine and investigate said activity.....If they succeed, then the mysteries surrounding the plague in the south may be revealed....

If after all this you are still interested, reply to this thread or shoot me a PM. I will try and get back to you as soon as I can. The following links can be read for more detailed information on the country and campaign setting in general:

Hm; let me ask you something.

When you say RP and narrative heavy, I got the RP heavy, but Narrative heavy... I assume you do not mean that the GM spends most of the time talking/telling a story while the players just read and respond once in a blue moon? :D

As long as I get to interact with npcs and advance the story, rather than being narrated too, thats how I prefer my games. :)

In fact, I'd ask to play, except... I'm not 100% sure I'd be available every weekend - and, of course, I am curious about my other question above, heh!
