Patched now getting an error

I recently tried to patch my FGII (saw the button on the bottom of the screen for the first time).

It started loading files, but then it said 'Error!'. After I closed it, it now gives and error when I try to run the program that says:

Could not load ruleset root file base.xml.
Do you want to try reloading the data?

It just keeps saying that error the whole time. The 4e_JPG folder in my app data folder has a base.xml file. What do I need to do to get everything running again?

I am having the very same problem!

I tried to troubleshoot this by checking the registry key, but it did not help. If you do not get a response soon, I will post another thread. Good luck!

Actually I was able to resolve this. I went into the program files directory where it was installed (Not the appdata directory under your user). Then I ran the updater directly by right clicking and selecting 'Run as Administrator'. That repatched it and it worked without any errors.

Try that and see if that works for you.
