I'm at a loss as how to go about what it is that I want to do. What I'd like to do is to create some books for the libary that contain stuff like force powers for example. I've combed thru alot of the MOD files and checked thru the XML pages in attempts to create something like that. I've tried using the d20spells.mod file and editing the xml files to hold force powers but i can not for the life of me get it to work. I'd like to make it much like the spells where you click a list and it pulls up the power. Does anyone by chance have some sort of template that i could just enter the info into or maybe a tutorial that shows step by step what files i'd need to change or add to the ruleset to acomplish this? I'm using the SWSE_II ruelset that is based off the 4E_jpg ruleset. any info or examples would be a great help. thanks a ton.

You're on the right track by starting with d20spells.mod and modifying to suit. What sort of problem are you having?

Biggest problem with that ruleset is that all the bugs weren't worked out of it. I tried it just the other day and it crapped out on me. Went back to an older version I had. Less functions (not based on the 4E ruleset) but useable.

well there are many. The first thing is i can make a copy of the D20spells.mod show and open in the SWSE_II ruleset and i can add and take away from the main spell list. such as adding "Light side" as a spell group. However none of the spell list are openinginto the list of spells. It will open if i do it in the foundation and D20 rulesets so that makes me think the d2ospells.mod file is asking for another file for dispalying the spell details. any ideas?

that might be my only option ThunderYak. I just went and tried what i had over on that rule set and it seems to work for the most part.

Remember you have to add the power in two places, in the spelldesc section and the spellists section (at the bottom).
