Hi,

I just bought a full & a lite license of FGII, as did 4 of my friends. I am able to connect to my full license in my home network, but none of us is able to connect to either of us via the internet. We tried with three full versions.

As I said: I don't know anything about forwarding Ports etc. and I was not able to follow the examples given in this forum.

I am using a level one WBR-3408 Router, my Laptop runs on Vista, my PC uses XP, Laptop should host the full version.

Perhaps someone can help me configuring this one. What I found with google didn't help me.

I desperately need a step by step guide, so that a network dummie like me can handle this.

Thanx in advance.

There are some suggestions in the FAQ (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/faq.php?faq=networking#faq_networking_3).

One of the sites pointed at (https://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm) has loads of step-by-step instructions. I don't think your exact router is there, but there are a lot of Level One routers, including the WBR-3407a (https://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/LevelOne/WBR-3407a/default.htm). This may be close enough for you to work out how to forward the port.

Check the connection using: https://www.canyouseeme.org/

If you have no success, you could try Hamachi from LogMeIn. Others have posted that they've had success using this.

Great Job!

Did the router config before I posted in the first place, with no results.

But Hamachi did the job!

Excellent.

One Mate has made it as well, let's see if the rest of us can do it.

The rest of us made it too.

Many thanks for the advice.
