I've just gotten FG, and I plan to make oWoD and Exalted rulesets for me and my friends to use. I wanted to look at the default ruleset that's included, but running d20unpack.exe doesn't appear to do anything. There isn't an examples/ directory in my AppData folder, much less an unpacked D&D3.5 for me to look at. There isn't even anything in the normal rulesets/ folder.

I suppose part of the problem could be that I've installed FG on my external hard drive, but d20unpack doesn't appear to do anything at all.

(Running Vista Home Edition 32bit)

If you've not done so, you first need to download and install the d20 ruleset from the Fantasy Grounds Downloads page.

Ah-ha! Thanks, that's exactly what I needed :)

I feel so silly now.

Don't worry. It's an easy thing to miss, others have missed it, and doubtless it will get missed again.

I wonder if the DEVs could update d20unpack.exe to give a message prompting the download if the file isn't there? It would need to be removed when WoTC finally pull the plug on d20 support, though, I guess.

Or at least an error of some kind so that I know it didn't work for a reason :p
