I know that this is an unusual request.
I'm looking for people that would like to drop in on our gaming group from time to time to play one of the NPCs affiliated with our party.
This option may be attractive to you if
you don't feel like you can make a long term commitment to a game;
you like the challenge of playing new characters;
you would like to check out Castles & Crusades;
Of course, if you like the gaming group and wish to stay, you can convert your NPC into a PC or create a new PC.
C&C is a d20 game that reminds some people of 1e/2e, while others call it -3.5 Lite. In any event, it's easy to pick up if you've ever played an older version of D&D. There are no skills or feats from 3.5 to worry about, but there is a mechanic for attempting such things.
Our current campaign is an urban-based affair set in Sasserine.
