New install packages not working on...

a friends machine. I bought her a copy of FGII as a gift so she could play with us, but we can't seem to get it installed (trying to walk her through it over the phone >< )

The installer runs, it appears to connect out, then it just instantly says 'done'.

We've tried shutting off her firewall, we've tried deleting everything and reinstalling, downloading the installer over and over, etc.

Is there a full download for the client somewhere?

There doesn't seem to a non internet based installer for FG. You might try having your friend download the beta tool that allows you to run test versions. Flip it to the beta and see if the updater will run. If so then run it. After if finishes flip it back to release and run the updater.
