Trying to host, but players can't connect. I'm not the best when it comes to software and whatnot -- can somebody catch what I'm doing wrong?

I have uploaded screencaps of everything that would appear to be relevant.

Edit: The attachments are pending approval so I'm going to just write it out in hopes of getting a response.

What address do your players use when trying to connect to you? Or do you use the alias feature FG provides?

Also, make sure your windows firewall or your modem firewall are not in the way.

I'm rather certain that one of those two things are in the way, and that's what I'm trying to figure out how to get past.

You can check the Firewall settings by going into the Control Panel, then Security Center, select Windows Firewall, then check the Exceptions tab (at least that's how it is on my Windows XP setup).

Also, as zabulus asked, what IP address do you give your users? If you're giving them the 192, that won't work. You'll have to give the address the outside world sees. You can use https://whatismyip.com/ to find what yours is.

Hope that helps....

If you've updated to the latest version there's a button on the Hosting screen called Connection Test. If you run this it should show you whether you're visible to the outside world.

This will at least allow you to test your settings without relying on a friend connecting to you or on an external port scan website.

Actually version 2.4.0 is still in beta and is not the release version. The beta is the version with the connection test. You can go to the Laboratory board and download the tool to get the beta however.
