Overview
The NPCs book is the place where GMs can store information on specific NPCs, traps or vehicles for their campaign sessions.
NPC Topics
-
NPC Management: Entries can be quickly added, opened, renamed, and removed.
-
NPC Editing: Once a NPC exists, the GM can specify details of the NPC.
Note
See the GM - Categories page for more details on categorizing campaign information.
NPC sheet overview
Once you have opened a campaign NPC, you can then enter NPC data to be used during your campaign sessions. This section will outline the purpose of the sections that are available on each NPC sheet. The NPC sheet is composed of three tabs: Main, Powers and Other. Fill out all of the fields on the NPC as they are printed in your manuals for the best experience.
NPC Tab Overview
-
Main: This section contains the all of the primary fields for each NPC, not including powers. Also, if this entry is editable, you can choose whether this entry is a creature, a trap or a vehicle. The remaining fields on the Main tab will be updated accordingly.
-
Powers: This section contains all of the powers available to this NPC. When hovering over the power description field, any available attack, damage, heal or effect actions will be highlighted as you pass over them. To activate the effect, just double-click the action text. If the combat tracker contains a unique instance of this NPC, or the active NPC in the combat tracker is an instance of this NPC, then the power will be assumed to have originated from that creature in the combat tracker.
-
Other: This section contains a formatted text area to store any remaining information relevant to the NPC, such as descriptions, lore entries or reference links.
Warning
There is a known issue with formatted text fields. When a new story entry is created, if you use the radial menu to start editing a story entry, instead of just clicking, then FG will crash.
