Panning images

Depress the middle mouse button (wheel button) on any part of an image you wish to pan.

Move the mouse away from the point where the button was pressed down in order to pan in that direction.

Release the mouse middle button once the desired view point is achieved.

- OR -

Press the mouse button down on the scroller gadget.

Move the mouse away from the point where the button was pressed down in order to start panning in that direction. Moving the mouse will allow you to adjust pan speed.

Release the mouse button once the desired view point is achieved.

Drawing pen strokes

Check to see if the GM has disabled drawing on the image, indicated by a lock icon in the top right corner of the image. If the drawing is locked, players cannot draw on the map.

Invoke the radial menu of the image area.

Select the "Drawing" submenu.

Select the "Enter drawing mode" option.

Use the mouse to draw, pressing the left mouse button, moving the cursor and releasing the mouse button to send the stroke to other users.

When you are finished, select the "Exit drawing mode" option in the "Drawing" submenu on the image radial menu.

Erasing drawing areas

Invoke the radial menu of the image area.

Select the "Drawing" submenu.

Select the "Erase" option.

Press the left mouse button down and move the mouse to select an area of the drawing that you wish to erase.

Release the mouse button to apply.

Placing pointers

Pointers are markers that can be placed on maps and images to hilight spherical, conical or square-shaped areas or directions and locations using an arrow shaped marker. If a grid is present, the grid squares under the area markers are hilighted.

Invoke the radial menu of the image area.

Select the "Pointers" submenu.

Select the item on the submenu representing the shape of the pointer you wish to place.

Using the left mouse button, drag from the starting/center point of the pointer to the end point of the desired shape.

- OR -

Press the left and right mouse buttons and drag the mouse to draw a quick adjust pointer. Pressing and releasing the buttons or creating a new pointer using this method will erase an existing one created using the same method.

Press down the modifier keys to vary the shape of the pointer: arrow (no modifiers), sphere (control), cone (alt) or square (shift).

Adjusting pointers

Hover the mouse close to the edge of a pointer, or the middle point of a spherical or square-shaped pointer. Two rectangular handles should be visible.

Grab a rectangular handle using the left mouse button and drag it onto another position.
