Creating entries

Open one of the story, images/maps, personalities or items books on the tabletop by clicking on the icon

Invoke the radial menu on the list area, and select "Create Item". Alternatively, click the "New" icon.

A new item will be created in the currently active category and opened for editing.

Deleting entries

Open one of the story, images/maps, personalities or items books on the tabletop by clicking on the icon

Invoke the radial menu on the list area, and select "Delete Item".

The item will be deleted.

- OR -

Open an entry in a resource book, or find the sheet for an item in one of the resource books.

Invoke the radial menu of the sheet, and select "Delete Record". In the submenu, select "Confirm Delete".

The sheet will be closed and the item deleted.

Renaming entries

Hover the mouse over an item in the list, underlining the label.

Invoke the radial menu, and select "Edit".

Type in or modify the label text. Press esc or click outside the label to complete the operation.

Opening entries

Open one of the story, images/maps, personalities or items books on the tabletop by clicking on the icon

Click on the label or shortcut icon of an entry to open the sheet in its default location, or drag the shortcut icon onto the desktop to open it at that position.

Creating new categories

Locate the row of tabs at the bottom of a resource book.

Hover the mouse over the tab area, and invoke the radial menu.

Select "Add New Group".

Changing category icons

Locate the row of tabs at the bottom of a resource book.

Hover the mouse over the category whose tab graphic you wish to change, and invoke the radial menu.

Select "Cycle Style" or "Cycle Icon" to change the base color or the decal icon, respectively.

Optionally, repeat the operation for more alternatives

Naming categories

Locate the row of tabs at the bottom of a resource book.

Type in a name you wish to assign to a category on the chat entry line.

Drag the text from the chat entry line onto a category tab.

The dragged label will be used as the tooltip text for the category.

Moving items to categories

Open a resource book containing multiple category tabs, and open the category containing the items you wish to move to another category.

Drag the shortcut icon of the item you wish to move onto the tab icon for the category you wish to move it to.

Sharing items in the books

Open an entry in a resource book, or find the sheet for an item in one of the resource books.

Invoke the radial menu of the sheet, and select "Share Sheet". All connected clients will be presented with the sheet and its data.

- OR -

Open a resource book item list or a sheet for an item in one of the resource books.

Drag the shortcut icon of the entry from the list or from the sheet heading onto a player character portrait.

The sheet will be shared to the player owning the character only.

Creating drawings

Entries in the images & maps book are automatically generated from the campaign image folder. New entries created during a session can't contain a bitmap layer. They are useful for the purposes of creating a blank canvas for drawing.

Open the images & maps book using the tabletop shortcut.

Invoke the radial menu on the list area, and select "Create Item". Alternatively, click the "New" icon.

A new blank drawing will be created.

Creating NPCs as copies of monsters

Activate the "d20 Monsters" module (see the "Using modules" section).

Open the "d20 Monsters" book in the library and locate the monster entry you wish to copy into the personality book.

Open the personality book using the tabletop shortcut.

Drag the shortcut icon for the monster entry into the personality list.

A copy of the entry from the module is created in the campaign. It is editable and will persist if the module is closed.
