    hi

    I am looking into the hollow earth expedition game by exile
    https://www.exilegames.com/games/hex.html

    it uses ubiqity dice which are 3 types of d8 as below

    A: 0,1,0,1,0,1,0,1
    B: 0,1,1,2,0,1,1,2
    C: 0,1,1,2,1,2,2,3

    checks are based on number of successes,
    dice A for a single check, B for 2 checks, C for 3 checks, or multiples of the above

    ie for a 5 dice check you can use 5 x A or 2 x B & 1 x A or 1 x B & 1 x C

    obviously electronic dice alow you to break the physical constraints and have 16 siders for 4 checks and 32 siders for 5 checks et al

    anyone know how i can do this in FG ?

    I think the xml (in gameelements.xml) would look something like this:
    Code:
    <customdie name="DieA">
      <model>d8</model>
      <menuicon>customdice</menuicon>
      <script>
        function onValue(result)
          return (result % 2);
        end
      </script>
    </customdie>
    Each different Die would obviously have a different script.

    Then, the custom dice will be accessible from the d8 dice right-click menu.
