Yes you can do that with any record.
But just a note on doing this. If the Record is changed in the source the link record does not up date.
I.E
If a NPC had say a +3 Init and the source got corrected to a +4 Init.
When the Player used his Hotbar link his NPC will still show a +3.
So if changes are made the Player would need to delete the hot-bar entry and drop a new on there hot-bar.Discord User : Samarex#0318

This only applies to certain actions added to the hotkey bar - e.g. a skill roll has the original data coded in the hotkey action, and is the skill subsequently changes the hotkey action needs to be updated too.
However, If you drag a link from a record then only the link to that record is stored in the hotkey bar - so changes to the linked record will be seen when the hotkey is used, as it is just a reference to the record. The issue here will be if the NPC record is removed from the combat tracker - which it will be, regularly, with summoned creatures - the link is to the one instance of the creature in the combat tracker. So storing the link to a temporary creature record isn't going to save much time and probably cause issues/confusion somewhere down the line. But if you know what you're doing, and remember to delete the hotkey link once the creature is removed from the combat tracker, go nuts on the hotkey bar linkage!Private Messages: My inbox is forever filling up with PMs. Please don't send me PMs unless they are actually private/personal messages.
