FGU api/ruleset compatibility
How much of the FGU api will be compatible with the current iteration of FG's extensions / rulesets.
I'd rather know ahead of time how much stuff will become obsolete so I can just put it off for development when FGU rolls out.

Smiteworks has said that they plan for the initial iterations of FGU to be 100% compatible with current extensions / rulesets.

It may not be 100% compatible; but we are trying to make it as close as we can so that migration is easy, or we can create automatic fallbacks, or deprecation is minimal.
The big change we know about will be around the image control APIs, which will probably be vastly different. When I make the statement above, I'm mostly referring to that subset of the APIs. The rest of them are similar; or will only behave differently if the ruleset is marked 4.0 compatible.
