What Do I Need To Buy?

Hi, I'm interested in the game and want to know what I need to buy to play.

Any suggestions for what to get, what's helpful to get etc.

Have to buy? Nothing!

Let me explain: you can get the Free/Demo version of Fantasy Grounds (FG) and then find a game to play in with a GM who has an Ultimate License. The easiest way to do this is drop on over to the FG College and learn to play there. The URL is FG College

Player or GM?

GM will need either the 6E or 7E ruleset plus an FG license.
Both contain a starter adventure or two.

As a player you might like the Investigators Handbook (7E) - this is the only product aimed at players. The GM can also buy and share this.

There are some really good CoC products - Pulp Cthulhu (7E) is good and there are many adventures.

7E will convert with good accuracy 6E adventures.

Yeah I'm focused on being a player first.

I assume that's how most people are when they first get into a game unless they're trying to get a group into a game they're interested in.
