Two GM's, Two Separate Games
Hi,
I play in a group of 8 people who have two games going on simultaneously. We are considering using FantasyGrounds for our games and I was wondering what the best route would be for us to use the service. We have a different GM for each game so I wanted to find out what would be the most economical route for us to adopt FantasyGrounds as our platform.
Thanks!

Hi RossGarner.
You have two choices. The two DMs buy (or subscribe to) the Ultimate license and can then host players with just the demo license. Or everyone (including the players) buys (or subscribes to) the Standard license.
Note that the two DMs will also each need to purchase any DLC such as Player's Handbooks, Monster Manuals and DMs Guides and/or adventures etc. How much of this you need/want will depend on the ruleset you intend to play (5e, SW, Pathfinder etc) and how much you homebrew. If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Each GM will need their own source material (DLC)
Then you will either have:
each GM has an Ultimate license
or
each Player has Full license
You might get everyone to pool some money in so the GM isnt left holding the bag.

You could always get the 4 for the price of 3 bundle on Steam for Standard licenses.
