Entangle (PF)

When my PC casts Entangle and the enemies fail it, it does not automatically give my monsters the "Entangled" condition, is there a reason why?

FG does not automatically apply any condition after a failed save, just like it doesn’t automatically apply damage after a successful attack. All of these actions are 2 steps - to allow for cases not covered by automation (abilities, feats, situations, etc.).

As default, FG removes those that pass their save from the targeting. So, target all those within the area of effect and cast the spell (click the cast button, which triggers the saves and removes from targeting those that made the save). Check that everything is correct (that is no edge cases that aren’t covered by automation) and then apply the entangled condition to all those that are still targeted.
