    1d6 Adventurers Monster Compendium

The group known as 1d6 Adventurers have been putting out NPCs for over a year on Reddit's 'Monster A Day' forum. With their permission, I have collected these NPCs and used NPC Engineer to create a Fantasy Grounds bestiary. To date, there are getting on for 400 NPCs in it. I will update once a week with the new monsters for as long as they keep writing them and post a brief summary here.

Many of the NPCs have artwork, and the FG module has a reference manual section for easier browsing. I hope you all find it useful. Any issues with the NPCs themselves should be addressed to the 1d6 Adventurers (links below), and any module issues to me.

The module can be downloaded from the NPC Engineer website, and is (of course) free of charge.

Totally awesome. Any idea what the license is on these? i.e. are they released under the OGL or?

I have no idea is the short answer. I'll ask the 1d6A guys, but I think my answer will be along the lines of 'we haven't thought about that'.

All the NPCs are freely available on the 'Monster-a-Day' Reddit, and when I asked for permission to do this, their only concerns were that I didn't charge for the package and that I linked back to their reddit.

It is worth noting that this isn't every NPC from MaD - it is only the NPCs that 1d6A designed.

Cool, thanks, I've looked around the thread, but haven't found anything either yet. I'm guess they would probably want it either the OGL or CC-SA licenses, but that's up to them.

I get the impression most people on Reddit think everything should be free and don't realize that just because they publish/post it there other people can't use it without permission.

If you ask for and receive permission you do not require a formal license. Permission is permission regardless of how it was granted.

New update (The first in 3 months!)

I spent 2 days adding about 80 new NPCs - serves me right for slacking! There are now 498 NPCs in this module
    Download from www.masq.net

Could a mod move this to the Armory forum? I made it in the wrong place, I think. Thank you!

    New update today.

    Bulwarg. - The toughest boy.
Good Boy. - Man’s best friend, for a price.
Lupin Druid. - Animal loving nature boy.
Illithound. - Fetches balls and brains.

It’s dog week! There’s nothing cute about these capable canine combatants. Man’s best friend might just become your player’s worst enemies.
