Hit Die bug with Advanced Bestiary for 3.5E/PFRPG
Bought the Advanced Bestiary module for 3.5 Edition Rules and was trying to make a Zombie Template to handle the creation of Zombies quickly for a Necromancer. However, when I put "replace HD" with "d8" on a Goblin that originally has 1d10+1 for its HD, the result I get is 1d80 instead of 1d8+1. I know this is wrong. I tried on an NPC with 4d10+8 and got the result: 4d80. Even on an NPC with 4d8+8, the result ended up being 4d80 instead of 4d8+8.
Am I doing something wrong here or is this a bug?

I just tried this again with Advanced Bestiary as the only extension and the Outcome was the same.
1. I start up my session: PFRPG Rise of the Runelords.
2. I click the Colosseum Icon down on the bottom right.
3. Set up the Zombie Template:
Template:
Code:New Name: Zombie [NAME] [R] Type: undead [R] Alignment: NE [A] CR: +1 DEFENSE [A] Armor Class: +4 natural [R] Hit Dice: d8 [A] Spec Qual: Staggered (Ex); DR 5/slashing OFFENSE [A] Attack: addAttack(Slam,1,,primary) or addAttack(Bite,1,,secondary) [A] Full Attack: addAttack(Slam,1,,primary) and addAttack(Bite,1,,secondary) STATISTICS [A] Strength: +2 [A] Dexterity: -2 [X] Constitution: 0 [X] Intelligence: 0 [R] Wisdom: 10 [R] Charisma: 10 [A] Feats: Toughness
4. Then I add the NPCs that need to be made into zombies and click "Build new NPC(s)"

I really don't understand how Tangletooth goes from 4d8 to 4d80.Last edited by DeltChar; May 2nd, 2018 at 02:06.
