    coc doors of darkness

    Hello,

SO I am new to trying to GM/storytell on this system and I bought the COC ruleset, and doors to darkness. I am trying to setup the game but I am not seeing any of the senaries. When I created the campaign I loaded both the core ruleset as well as doors to darkness. I can see the module created, but I dont see much else. There is nothing in story other than some basic information about COC and even that jumps pages dramatically. The images shows just the default 4 from the ruleset, no quests, no encounters, nothing. I am on windows 10. I did update the game after buying the module, can anyone assist me with this?

    Welcome to the forums.

Have you activated the Doors to Darkness module in the Module Activation window? If you look at the screenshots in the product page there are lots of story entries: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store...HA23148FGCOC7E

    Welcome thaylin

Did you buy the Call of Cthulhu 6e or 7e ruleset?
I believe that all the 6e material will load with reasonable accuracy on 7e but not the other way around.

I dont have that particular module but typically with Colins conversions you woud have a reference manual and also the adventure would be in Story.

Also not sure if it is the proper location but I dont see anything in the modules directory for it.

You won't see anything there, the product is encrypted in the vault.

Look for it in your "Module Activation" screen once you've loaded up the CoC 7E campaign.

With them jumping around the place - change the Story Category View to the particular adventure you want and then it will only show you the story entries for that one.

If you look at the 4th screenshot in the product page here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store...HA23148FGCOC7E You'll notice that the library has a separate Scenarios section - look for modules to activate for each individual scenario.

Thank you guys, I figured it out. I needed to go to story - > index -> then activate the scenario from there. It seems a little counter intuitive for a newbie.

Hi thaylin most modules dont have this multiple adventure setup so it would probably have thrown all of us for a bit...
