Trying to Update to 3.3.4 and Connection Timing Out
So, I've been trying to update to 3.3.4 for days now. Finally, yesterday, it managed to download all the packages up to SWK01. Then it hits the FantasyGrounds.exe and I get the following error:
ERROR - GetPachageFiles: Network: time out
Retrying in 10 seconds
updating FantasyGrounds.exe
And it gets stuck in an endless loop. Is there any other way to update other than from the updater? And, as an added bonus, because it only updated half the update, I can no longer access my own campaign since the FantasyGrounds.exe file is wrong for the 5e package.
Is there anything I can be doing? I've tried disabling my firewall, disabling my virus protection, standing on my head and drinking water through a straw. Nothing apparently works.
Would it be possible for a friend who has updated to simply email me the .exe file and go from there?

Something likely is still blocking the updater; in my experience turning off protection temporarily and then updating clears this. Also, making a rule to not block the updater if your AV software has that functionality.
Others may have more ideas given you've stated that you have already gone through this."I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind."

Go into where your Fantasy Grounds is installed and delete the FantasyGrounds.exe file and run the FGUpdater.exe file
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Zacchaeus method is the correct method.
The .exe file could be copied from another computer but Vault data cannot.
