Setting up an effect for Stonecunning
Just so I understand how this dwarven ability works, from the SRD.
Stonecunning: Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to the origin of stonework, you are considered proficient in the History skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
If my prof bonus is +2, I would add +4 to the roll instead of the +2? For this example consider the INT to be 10 (+0).
So, if the dwarf already is proficient in History, the effect would be
SKILL: history, [PRF]
If he's not proficient in History, the effect would be
SKILL: history, [2PRF]
The second one is to simulate basic proficiency in the skill.

That would appear to be correct. Have you tested it?
If there is something that you would like to see in Fantasy Grounds that isn't currently part of the software or if there is something you think would improve a ruleset then add your idea here https://www.fantasygrounds.com/featu...rerequests.php

Since this only applies to stonework, why not just make a new skill called History (stonework) that has double proficiency?
I never claimed to be sane. Besides, it's more fun this way.

The effect works, just making sure I wash reading it correctly.

That's the way I handled it on my dwarf character.
Cheers,
