Fantasy Flight Game's Genesys?
Are there any plans to try to work the generic narrative system FFG is publishing?

do you mean at its most rudimentary?
Stat/skill assembled die pool vs integrated oppositional die pool; compared for result.
But its a lot deeper than that due to the icons on the dice, where you can have good stuff happen, but still fail or succeed, but still have some unexpected complications arise. Narrative system. The base mechanics are nothing new, really, its the dice themselves and how they are read.
It is the same system (more or less) as used for Fantasy Flight's Star Wars line of RPGs.

So its like the FFG Star Wars: Edge of the Empire etc?
There is a community ruleset for that - mostly Trenloe and also Lobosolo on the ruleset and modules (sans the descriptive copy protected stuff) by Miekal.

there's the sw community ruleset yes but officially support for this new system would be awesome.
