Calling All Lawyers (To Get Things Rolling)

Hi All,

We're gearing up to announce a new FOSS (Free & Open Source Software) Project for Fantasy Grounds and the RPG Hobby as whole (PDFs, Ruleset(s), Extensions and Modules). The Project will need a number of different skill-sets, including artists, cartographers, rules mechanics, ideas people, coders (experienced and those willing to learn), translators and writers, just to name a few. But before we get to that stage, we also need someone (or someones) with a legal background. If you are or have been a practicing lawyer, law professor or have a similar skill-set (particularly around copyright) and you'd like to be involved and help shape things from the very beginning (and earn the kudos and recognition that such a role brings), then please drop me a line at [email protected].

To everyone else who this sparks an interest in: stay tuned - it's a really, really exciting Project with room for many, many people to participate in and help shape the RPG Hobby.

What does this actually mean? Is it Fantasy or Sci-Fi? Curious...

It'll be both, and modern, and horror, and western, and super hero, and pirates and... if we can think it, it'll be it - at least that's the plan

And people are now just gonna hafta wait until we're ready to announce "officially".
