The chase tracker move fix should now be in the test channel if you want to make sure it fixes the problem for you.

*sigh* didnt realise the ruleset would be encrypted, I thought this would be a good start-off to mod for Runequest. But hey! now you guys have already released an updated ruleset using chaosiums BRP, when can we have an updated base BRP or Runequest set?

Hi guys,
First : thank you very much for this ruleset, it is so cool to play with a real 7th version.
Second : about this "old" post, is the problem solved because I still have it and I think that maybe it comes from the translation ext. ?
I think it's the same problem but let me describe it :
- I create an occupation with all the good skill's names but of course, there is no specialty description in the skills in the occupation created.
- I put the occupation in a new character sheet and all the skills and points are goods.
- Then I write a specialty on the skill and it's still working and writing the right %age.
But when I try to edit the character's sheet on the skills, and spend some occupation point on the first column, then it creates the bug described above : another new line with blank parent skill, etc...
I hope you'll understand my english, thank you for your answer !

Hi cobalt_95,
Where do you fill in the specialisation? It must be filled in on the occiupation dialog and not in the skills tab, otherwise when you add the specilisation, it is no longer the same as the skill in the occupation and it is treated as a new, additional skill, adding the new line.

Hi Ianmward,
You're absolutely right !!!
I didn't even know what these lines were. I thought it was a display bug on the occupation dialog but it was real lines to write information down sorry
Now, everything works, thank you very much.
So another question please : when you create a new character, it doesn't put the maximum of the hit points on the sheet.
It write the good number in the "maximum case" but only the half in the "current case".
Translation extension problem or original bug ?Last edited by Cobalt_95; June 19th, 2017 at 21:54.

Thank you.
another thing (again sorry...) : In the "occupations", when I drag & drop an existing occupation, it doesn't create a copy of this one in the folder as it does for object, it is normal ?

No worries, worth a try though!
I was contemplating doing it myself but I find myself completely lacking the available time to do it and the BRP ruleset is just so far behind it would need to be coded from the ground up from Core. If the CoC7E ruleset wasn't encrypted, my idea was to write an extension for it to twist it around to RQ.
Love the CoC7E ruleset though, great work on that, I just need to convince another of my gaming circle to get off his butt and GM it lol...
