Details of your scenario: This is a homebrew story happening along the sword coast.
Sword coast have been struck by many mysterious attacks and all attacks have left no survivors only devastations and death.
Lords and citizens have started to hear the rumors of a giant shadow in the sky some even say that they saw a black dragon, but no one is sure for certain.
