    Extension Handling

When testing out my CoreRPG-derived ruleset, I noticed that the built-in theme extensions did not appear in the Extension list for the new ruleset. I did expect that much, but what I did not expect was that selecting an extension from the CoreRPG list then starting a new campaign with the new ruleset would enable the extension for the new ruleset!

I haven't yet devoted any time to figuring out why this is or how to change it, but if anyone can explain why this is and how to fix it, I'd be much obliged.

I should note that I haven't tried any community-made extensions, so I don't know if they have the same quirk.

Extensions are tagged with the <ruleset> they can be loaded in. If an extension has <ruleset>Any</ruleset> or no <ruleset> tag then they can be loaded in any ruleset. This is set in the <properties> section of extension.xml: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/refdoc/properties.xcp

This is also described in more detail in the Extensions page of the Ruleset Modification Guide: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/modguide/extensions.xcp

Hm. Then there's nothing to be done about it on my end. Good to know.
