Only thing I can think of is to uninstall FG completely ie run the uninstaller, then go and remove the directories/folders, then go into regedit and get rid of any relevant keys, then reboot (cold reboot, not warm) then install FG

A long, laborious process but you've tried everything else

    Just my $0.02 worth

    Cheers

Has it been tried to install through Steam?

  3. #23
    yeah, early on.

We've been skipping the steam step and adding rulesets for now.

This confirms it is a crash, and not a hang or exit state.

Based on the console.log from earlier email, it seems like the app is reading an incorrect launcher content pack which could cause a crash in certain situations. I need to review console.log again.

whats is the last thing on the screen when it crashes please? can you post a screenshot?

  7. #27
There is no last thing, it crashes before it gets far enough for that.

There's the little windows circle for a few seconds and then it goes away.

What was the root cause of the issue? Resolution? Curious as the user reporting the issue was trying to connect to my game on 28-Mar. Apologize for my tardy curiousity.

Awesome. I'm sorry we couldn't help sooner. Maybe that will give John some clues.
