Good job Damned. How did you go about getting it to redirect to the appropriate port?

Avro5731, if you ping those DNS names what IP address do you get back from them?

the newer clients will look up a SRV record which can be used to provide port numbers...
older clients than 3.0.8 wont pick up the port number.

So, just to clarify, the original server is no longer available?

But really - all that has changed is you now need a password - and Mellock has been kind enough to foot the bill for the new one.

The original server is gone. It was running at my old work but they finally shut it down.

The new server has a password because we can't make it private. It is just a way to make sure that the FG community is bothered while using the server.
