Generic Ruleset

Would it be possible to establish a generic ruleset for FG? I ask this because there are a lot of different game systems not readily supported and some form of generic fill-in-yourself character sheet plus/minus a customized diceroller would be helpful.

I believe this is what you're seeking for. It's the most "generic" ruleset out there I believe. Another alternative, if you want to customize existing ruleset to fit better for your game, is the Unicore ruleset. This ruleset is non-RPG system specific but it provides simple methods of altering the ruleset for your simple needs, such as: what characteristics there is in your RPG game, what fields NPCs have and such, how skill rolls are determined etc.
