I am testing descent to the depths of the earth and I have a character with a AC of -2. I am facing mobs that attack with a THAC0 of 17 and the system records a hit on a roll of 7. Any suggestions?

I removed the 2e player options extension and the THAC0 is now calculating correctly.
i have never experienced this with sternos extension. I’ve used for along time. I also have access to the source code, in fact im a developer on it now. Can you send me more details on recreating this issues?. First, make a brand new campaign and load only the extension. For modules load only the phb and mm. If you’re using dooms other 2e extension they’re completely incompatible, so that is your problem.
Drop an enemy with a similar thaco and roll the attack vs the character.
